CULTURE CLINIC

Uncover the gap between policy and practice with a Culture Clinic

A Culture Clinic is a complimentary, expert-led assessment that examines how your organisation’s culture operates in practice - not just how it is written in policy. It’s underpinned by our Maturity Model, a framework that maps how culture develops over time and helps identify where intent, behaviour, and outcomes are aligned - and where they are not.

The result is a clear view of where you are today, what is driving current behaviours, and what needs to change to strengthen how issues are prevented, raised, and addressed.

CULTURE CLINIC

Why arrange a Culture Clinic?

Most organisations don’t have a clear, shared view of how effectively they are preventing and responding to harmful behaviour. Without that clarity, it becomes difficult to know where effort is needed most, or whether current approaches are actually working in practice.

Visibility gap

Without a clear, honest picture of how harmful behaviour is being prevented and addressed, organisations risk operating on assumption rather than reality.

Unclear next steps

Without concrete, tailored recommendations grounded in leading practice, it becomes harder to prioritise meaningful next steps or focus effort where it will have the most impact.

Limited influence

Without tangible insight to take to senior leadership or use internally, it can be difficult to build shared understanding, secure buy-in, or shift the conversation from reactive to proactive.

Who are Culture Clinics for?

Culture Clinics are designed for any organisation that wants a clearer, external perspective on how its culture is operating in practice. Whether you are already working with Culture Shift, exploring what support might look like, or simply want an informed view to help shape internal thinking, it provides a structured starting point.

Organisations already working with Culture Shift or considering a partnership

Teams seeking an external, evidence-based view of their culture

Leaders who know change is needed but are unclear on where to start

Organisations looking to build a stronger internal case for action

What to expect

A Culture Clinic takes the form of a focused, structured conversation with a member of our Culture Transformation team. It is designed to understand your current context, explore how your organisation is approaching culture in practice, and identify where there may be gaps between intent and reality.

A focused meeting with a Culture Transformation specialist

A discussion of your organisational needs, challenges, and current approach

Exploration of where you feel you are today in taking meaningful action

Insights based on over a decade of experience

We look at key areas of practice, including how concerns are raised, how reports are handled, how data is used to inform change, and the strength of your prevention approach. From there, we map your organisation against our Maturity Model and share a clear assessment along with tailored recommendations for next steps.

Beyond your Culture Clinic: a three-stage process

For organisations that go on to be Culture Shift customers, a Culture Clinic is just the beginning - three meaningful moments in time, a clear picture of progress, and something concrete to show for it.

Stage 1: Culture Clinic Your starting point. A free assessment, open to anyone.

Stage 2: Onboarding Assessment When you become a customer, we revisit the Maturity Model together. We look at what's changed, what your priorities are, and how we can make the most of your partnership from day one.

Stage 3: Impact Evaluation A year in, we come back. We take a comprehensive look at where you are now versus where you started - what's progressed, what's been challenging, and why. We produce tailored materials you can use to report back to senior stakeholders and make the case for continued investment in this work.
