Understanding and Preventing Workplace Bullying

We are very excited to be partnering with Workplace Bullying Specialist Nicki Eyre from Conduct Change on this half-day training session centred around understanding and preventing workplace bullying. 

In this session, we will explore:

  • Definitions of bullying, cyberbullying and harassment 
  • Brief overview of current legislation
  • Recognising the different forms and behaviours that bullying can take in the workplace
  • Remote working: what makes cyberbullying different?
  • The bullying relationship: what makes someone a bully?
  • Professional, personal and emotional impacts of being bullied in the workplace
  • Weakness in current approaches to addressing bullying and harassment 
  • Resolution through early interventions
  • Being an Active Upstander

You will leave the session with an increased understanding of workplace bullying and practical solutions to implement to prevent bullying in your workplace.

About the Trainer

Having experienced bullying in a previous organisation, Nicki Eyre, Founder and Director of Conduct Change, knows firsthand the impact of a toxic relationship. Since that time, she has dedicated her career to raising awareness of the impact of bullying and harassment as well as offering practical and pragmatic solutions to organisations who want to prevent bullying, harassment and sexual harassment. She recognises the scale of the problem at both an organisational and individual level and is able to bring her wealth of experience to her role as consultant, trainer and speaker, and lead campaigner for Stop Hurt at Work.

Nicki is an advocate of building a workplace which is psychologically safe, with a particular interest in tackling workplace bullying and harassment as part of an overall approach to improving workplace culture and wellbeing.
