Open Vacancy: Head of Marketing

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head of Marketing to lead our marketing team. The Head of Marketing will create and deliver targeted, integrated marketing strategies to drive demand and pipeline growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, strong analytical skills, and a track record of delivering measurable results. This role is for you if you are an individual with a performance marketing mindset. We need a creative approach to our digital strategy and are looking for someone who can bring new and untested ways to approach demand as well as the ability to implement tried and tested methods at pace.
Key accountabilities
- To own top to mid funnel KPIs – website traffic, leads, MQL, SQL and conversion rate optimisation
- Lead generation, qualification and nurturing to scale revenue and pipeline contribution
Role responsibilities
- Deliver multi-touch, multichannel campaigns that align with our Go-To-Market strategy and is architected to meet our revenue objectives.
- Ownership of both organic and paid channels, combining a mix of always on and targeted campaigns designed to hit our revenue goals.
- Lead Lifecycle Ownership. Own objectives across the marketing funnel – from website visitor to SQL – track and optimise performance at each stage in the funnel, and create a predictable, scalable demand generation engine.
- Messaging. Be able to understand the minds of our buyers to deliver authentic engagement and content, aligned to our buyer journey that effectively progress prospects through each funnel stage
- Utilise marketing automation and CRM platforms to build, execute and track campaigns, ensuring optimal performance and ROI.
- Identify and prioritise lead generation channels and tactics, including but not limited to email marketing, content marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, events, webinars, and partnerships.
- Continuous Improvement. Always strengthening best practices while evaluating the latest B2B SaaS marketing strategies, marketing technologies, experimenting and optimising different tactics, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales pipeline and revenue goals.
- Communications and PR. Effectively amplify content and messaging through social media and digital PR to increase our visibility and expand awareness in our target audience.
- ABM. Work with our sales team to build and implement structured one-to-few campaigns designed to engage our key accounts in target sectors. Create hyper personalised outreach backed by in-depth research at the account level to deliver expansion opportunities in priority markets
- Manage online and offline event programmes, including our annual conference, community events, webinars and select trade events
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and alignment on lead qualification criteria.
Role requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g. MBA, Google Analytics, HubSpot) are a plus.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in marketing which must include deep domain knowledge of best-practice digital marketing.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful demand generation campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation and CRM platforms.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a passion for innovation in demand generation strategies.
- Experience in B2B marketing, with a deep understanding of the buyer’s journey and customer personas.
- Experience of account-based strategies and sector-targeted marketing

Salary band: £55,000 – £65,000
